These special build of the Android-x86 Linux operating system is currently distributed as a Live CD ISO image that contains software packages optimized only for 32-bit (x86) hardware architectures. The user must purchase the ISO image from the project’s website (click the Buy button above).
The Live CD comes with standard boot options, such as the ability to run the Android-x86 operating system on any computer without installing it on a local disk drive (live mode), support for running the OS in safe graphics mode using the generic VESA video drivers.
Additionally, support for running the distribution in debug mode in case you run into problems, so you can see what’s going on, as well as support for installing Android-x86 on your computer is also provided in the boot prompt, which will appear when attempting to boot from the bootable medium (CD or USB).
