I am having the same difficulty.

Apple Notes is installed on every Mac as part of Apple's productivity suite. What began as a simple iOS note taking app has evolved into a feature-packed cross-platform note taking solution. You can capture rich text notes with formatting, in-line images, checklists, and tables. I have Note Taker HD, Notes Plus, and Underscore Notify. Underscore Notify is by far the most full featured app. It's truly mind boggling what this app can do compared to other note taking apps, and it's only $0.99! Notes Plus is good, but I don't think Note Taker HD is that good in comparison. Translated I started using handwritten iPad application Noteshelf from today. I started using handwritten notes with a special pen. Easily paste photos, easy pictograms. You can mail as it is. With this, I have concluded that paper notes are not needed at all for me.

I purchased a bamboo pad for $60-$75 and that is how i can do my handwriting on the mac.

secondly, i think its possible to write on the trackpad with a pen or something (look that up). Paul grilley anatomy for yoga download.

I cant say its going to be as good as having a writing tablet.

as far as apps go,

the bamboo pad came with an app called 'Bamboo Paper'.

that is free to download. so you can get that.

I have been searching for handwriting apps.

and honestly, i found only one app so far called 'Equil Note'.

it syncs with evernote and dropbox.

the onenote app does not have the draw feature as of yet for the max os.

I hope Evernote and OneNote come out with handwriting feature.
