Software Product Description A virtual floppy drive that mounts image files (.img) as new browseable computer resources. Tested from WinXP (32bit) to Win7 (64bit). Virtual Floppy Drive (VFD) is a free floppy drive emulator that can be run from a portable device. This software enables a user to mount floppy images as a virtual floppy drives. The user can then directly access the contents to perform the same tasks they would from a physical floppy drive. Virtual Floppy Drive is a simple application whose goal is to give you the possibility to create virtual drives and use them as if they were real ones. The program allows you to create drives from 160KB (5.25') to 2.88MB (3.5') and you can choose the leeter you want to assign it. However, since the Virtual PC cannot boot off that floppy without going through the gyrations of creating a virtual floppy disk from the physical floppy disk and booting form the virtual floppy disk, I don't have a good technique to migrate my phyical PC's to virtual PC's. Yes, I have tried Disk2vhd, but it didn't work for me.
